Hair 'mare!!

I've been struggling to decide what to do to my hair as I feel like i need a change...but nothing too drastic as I like the length of it. I thought about changing the colour/style and after having a conversation with someone from work they came up with a great idea...
She happened to have a bag full of wigs in the back of her car (as you do!) so we decided to try them out...perfect idea for me to decide what colour i want to go...

Take a look and let me know what you think??

Nail's rock!!

This next post needs to be dedicated to my fabulous friend Frankie who gave me some amazing birthday presents!! I had a lovely Lipsy top, great necklace (if you haven't already been able to tell i love jewelry) and these amazing Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps. I was a little apprehensive as i wasn't sure how easy they would be to apply and how long they would last but I have to say they were so easy to apply and looked great!! I put them on on Saturday and they are still here so we shall see how long they last...they say they last up to a week and with how easy they were to apply I can't wait to give them a go for my next night out!

There are so many different patterns I want to try, below are some of my faves...What's your favourite?? http://www.nailrock.com/

Summer sun...

Well, seeing as we don't seem to have had a Summer at all I was fed up of wearing dark clothes and jumpers so i treated myself to this amazing summer playsuit from Topshop.
I absolutely love it and it makes me feel so happy when I wear it! I teamed it with some amazing red heels to an engagement party and spread a little sunshine....

Perks of the job!!

As you may or may not know, I am Marketing Coordinator for a property developer and absolutely love my job! Some of the perks is I can get first dibs on some of the ex-show home furniture when it goes on sale. My bottom drawer is getting bigger (I think my mum's trying to tell me something!) and I have now taken up half of our garage with a fantastic dining table!!
Check it out...
I absolutely love the multi-coloured chairs and i even got all the matching cutlery and plates..and the fruit bowl in the middle!! It is amazing and I'm just counting down now until i can get the house for it!!! Fingers crossed that will be another big perk of my job...

I even got spoiled with an amazing Pandora charm from one of my Managers for doing the set up of a fantastic new show home in Plymouth at the old airport...

I absolutely love it and it really means a lot...another item I will be treasuring forever :)

Mulberry magic...

During the time since i last posted i celebrated my 23rd birthday...I was spoilt rotten and had so many nice things. One of my presents was this amazing pink Mulberry bracelet with a little gold bear. It was from my parents... and Teddy..Get it??

I absolutely love it and know it is something I can treasure  forever! :) Next on my list is the Bayswater ...we'll see!!!!

Meet the new edition...

Wow, I am so sorry it has been so long since i last posted! I can't quite believe it has been 5 months!! A lot has happened in those 5 months...the eyelashes have officially come off, my boyfriend has finished uni and moved in with me and I have a 6 month old puppy!!
I am going to dedicate this post to my little Yorkie pup called Teddy, or 'Ted'! He has taken up most of my time in the last 5 months and you can now meet the new edition to my little family...

Vintage Fair

I was in sunny Bournemouth last weekend and decided to take a trip to Boscombe for a change!! I had seen online that the first saturday of every month they hosted a vintage fair! I couldn't wait to check it out and it didn't disappoint! It was small- probably only about 10/12 stalls but the goodies you could get were great!! A complete mixture from homeware, old records, old sewing machines, fashion and jewellery. I saw a real fur coat for just £65- it was pretty tempting but I've still not quite made my mind up about real fur...
I came across one stall as I was about to leave and so glad I did. There was a mixture of homeware products, lots of unique jewellery- including this ring I bought for just £4...
I then came across some amazing clothes- pretty sure they aren't real vintage but they look good to me so that's all that matters...and so cheap!
I got a white blouse with a black peter pan collar and cuffs for just £16- it would be double that in Topshop!! I also got a white top with a black peter pan style collar - for just £3!!!!! Cheaper then Primark!!! Finally, I got a navy blue dress with...you guessed it...a gold sequin peter pan collar!!! As you can tell, I'm loving the peter pan collar at the moment- I think its so elegant and looks great on all these different items!! The dress was only £5 too so I think I got some absolute bargains! I actually received a small card from the girl who owned the stall and I checked out her website...definitely worth a browse!!! Check it out at www.everours.bigcartel.com

P.S- There is actually a whole festival dedicated to all that is vintage in July in Northamptonshire and I can't wait til next payday so I can get my ticket!!! check it out at http://www.vintagefestival.co.uk/

Homemade designer dresses

I have to share with you the amazing dresses my auntie has made for me!! They are the best dresses ever- designed by myself!!
Firstly, a lovely red skater dress with zip detail and a really subtle floral pattern...what do you think?

(Sorry it's a little creased in this picture- need to get the iron out!!)

Secondly, an amazing blue strapless dress with tiny floral pattern and a cream bow to finish. I absolutely love it and can't wait to wear it to a wedding i have at the end of the month teamed with a cream blazer and navy clutch!!!

I just love it soooo much!!!! I think this proves homemade is best- I might even attempt to create something on my own at the weekend but i doubt they will be a scratch on these two!!

Fantastic finds...check these beauties out!!!

WOW- I couldn't wait to tell you all about the amazing finds at Primark this week! I love this bird print blouse and the bow detail around the collar- looks much more expensive then £12, I actually saw a similar version on asos for £35!!

Then my next amazing find was this designer-look-a-likey for a fraction of the cost- £5!!!! I absolutely love it!! Great for work and play, team it with some amazing high heels and leather jacket for a night out or tights and a cardi for work, like I did today!

I can't believe I found my dream playsuit for only £5!!!!

And finally, this amazing Alexander Mcqueen copycat at only £3 you can't go wrong!!

I have to say these amazing finds were all in Primark in Bournemouth which has some great things- my local Primark in Torquay- not so much!! I guess if you live in a small town like me you may have to dig a little deeper to find these amazing bargains!!!

On another note I'm also trying out Barry M's instant spray tan so i will let you know how I get on- so far it has a great colour but it is hard getting used to the spray so you'll definitely need a mit to even that out if your not so used to the spray tan!!!

Shellac Nails- AMAZING!!

Check out the newest thing to nails- Shellac!!! These amazing polishes last for weeks completely chip free- (be warned you can't mix these with any other base/top coats, or coloured polishes as it will compromise the quality). These have won many awards including Nail's Magazine best new product 2010! (I see I'm a little slow to discover this product) A woman I work with has just had hers done and they look amazing- I'm going to check them out in 2 weeks time and see if they really are chip-free!!! If they are, I'll be paying the small price of £20 to get them for sure!!! I would just have to decide what colour to have- I am loving Zillionaire, Decadence and Tropix for summer!!

ZILLIONAIRE

DECADENCE

...What's your favourite colour?

Cocktails, Ed Sheeran, Portobello Market and plenty of shoes...

This time last week I was screaming my head off, a little tipsy with my big sis, watching Ed Sheeran at Brixton O2 Academy! We had such an amazing weekend- starting with...a Nandos of course!!! We were staying Covent Garden so it was an ideal location, such nice shops. We headed to Foundation cocktail bar which does the most amazing cocktails with a real 'Alice in wonderland' twist- which I of course loved!!!! The cocktails come in a variety of ways- jam jars, teapots, even some with popping candy! Definitely a place to check out if you get chance...

Then we went to see the amazing Ed Sheeran who was just as good as we expected... he also had some amazing support acts, in particular we loved the a guy called Lester Clayton.
Then we popped to Portobello Market on Saturday morning and could have spent allllll day there but we had to catch our train home :( We did get a little leather satchel bag each which I am in love with!!!

Then... I went shopping in my local town (which I have to say is usually pretty bad for fashion) and got the most amazing pair of shoes at a bargain price...

Red Court Shoe from New Look @ £19.99

Black Paris Hilton shoes @ £8.00- YES, THAT'S RIGHT!!!

And finally, amazing grey suede CARVELA court shoes- only £10!!!!!

I'll give you a little tip- head to TKMAXX nowwww!!!
HAPPY SHOPPING!!

Happy New Year....a little late!!

Happy New Year!! I know its pretty late now that we are nearly in Feb but I thought I had to say it!! It seems to have been mad since Xmas so I haven't had chance to update! I've bought lots of fashion items of late, but im still hunting for my one love...The peter pan collar blouse with black ribbon detail. Here are some styles I'm loving and on the hunt to find in store.

As you can see I'm liking a certain style but I cant quite find the right one, I think im going to have to get a plain white blouse with a peter pan collar, and a black piece of ribbon from the local material shop and then I can make it exactly how I want...at a fraction of the price!!
Homemade is always best!!
