Vintage Fair

I was in sunny Bournemouth last weekend and decided to take a trip to Boscombe for a change!! I had seen online that the first saturday of every month they hosted a vintage fair! I couldn't wait to check it out and it didn't disappoint! It was small- probably only about 10/12 stalls but the goodies you could get were great!! A complete mixture from homeware, old records, old sewing machines, fashion and jewellery. I saw a real fur coat for just £65- it was pretty tempting but I've still not quite made my mind up about real fur...
I came across one stall as I was about to leave and so glad I did. There was a mixture of homeware products, lots of unique jewellery- including this ring I bought for just £4...
I then came across some amazing clothes- pretty sure they aren't real vintage but they look good to me so that's all that matters...and so cheap!
I got a white blouse with a black peter pan collar and cuffs for just £16- it would be double that in Topshop!! I also got a white top with a black peter pan style collar - for just £3!!!!! Cheaper then Primark!!! Finally, I got a navy blue dress with...you guessed it...a gold sequin peter pan collar!!! As you can tell, I'm loving the peter pan collar at the moment- I think its so elegant and looks great on all these different items!! The dress was only £5 too so I think I got some absolute bargains! I actually received a small card from the girl who owned the stall and I checked out her website...definitely worth a browse!!! Check it out at www.everours.bigcartel.com

P.S- There is actually a whole festival dedicated to all that is vintage in July in Northamptonshire and I can't wait til next payday so I can get my ticket!!! check it out at http://www.vintagefestival.co.uk/

Homemade designer dresses

I have to share with you the amazing dresses my auntie has made for me!! They are the best dresses ever- designed by myself!!
Firstly, a lovely red skater dress with zip detail and a really subtle floral pattern...what do you think?

(Sorry it's a little creased in this picture- need to get the iron out!!)

Secondly, an amazing blue strapless dress with tiny floral pattern and a cream bow to finish. I absolutely love it and can't wait to wear it to a wedding i have at the end of the month teamed with a cream blazer and navy clutch!!!

I just love it soooo much!!!! I think this proves homemade is best- I might even attempt to create something on my own at the weekend but i doubt they will be a scratch on these two!!
